Summer shredding never looked and felt so good! I absolutely loved surfing in this Roxy Zipperless Long Jane Wetsuit. The fabric was ultra stretchy and easy to get into, but was snug enough to keep me warm in Santa Cruz’s chilly Summer waters 🙂
Here are some of the technical features of the suit:
Over the past few years I’ve become a sunscreen connoisseur of sorts. I love to try new SPF products and learn more about the technology that goes into it.
I wear SPF on my face 365 days of the year and during the summer months I wear it on my neck, décolleté and arms to go to work (UVA & UVB rays DO come through car / plane windows and daily walks to your local coffee shop during mid-day do put you at risk for sun damage if you aren’t protected). I also go as far as wearing a hat pretty much everyday…I’m serious when I’m saying I don’t want any sun on my face area 😉
All this to say that I’m serious about skin protection, but it’s also fascinating to me. This summer I’ve become really invested in learning the difference between chemical and mineral sunscreens and I’ve found the best resource with Supergoop!
I like the above article because it breaks down the differences in a very simple way. They also have an amazing blog where they breakdown a bunch of SPF myths, and provide really helpful sunscreen information.
A classic one-piece that will make you feel extra cute and extra comfortable during your next beach adventure…Roxy always gets it right 🙂 I loved pairing this swimsuit / bodysuit with these flowy pants. It’s the perfect combo for all beach babes; easy to pack and easy to throw on.

After Acacia Swimwear’s Miami Swim Week show this Summer I couldn’t stop obsessing over their amazing new styles and prints. I feel like I say this every season in respect to Naomi Newirth’s designs, but I always seem to connect to the vibes that she creates with her swimwear and ready-to-wear pieces. The theme of Acacia’s 2019 collection is ‘An Ode to Retro Hawaii. A Dedication to the innovators before us’. What a wonderful way to share little bits of history through fabric, fit and colour stories…I can’t get enough! I can honestly say that I have yet to purchase an Acacia bikini that doesn’t fit like a glove, and I treasure each piece because it’s always associated to a fun surf trip I’ve taken somewhere where I’ve created great memories.
I literally started this blog after I got my first Acacia bikini because it fit so well and gave me confidence to rock a bikini. I promise that you can’t go wrong when choosing any style from their collection, no matter your size…You’ll love it!
Acacia released the full 2019 Resort Collection today for everyone to browse. You can’t shop it yet, but when you can I’ll let you know on my Instagram 😉 In the meantime, I’ve added below my favourite snapshots from their Swim Week Show.
Let me know what you think!

I’ve been testing it out for over 6 months now, and I can happily say that it continues to stay on my top shelf. I apply it after my serum and moisturizer in the morning and it creates this beautiful light coverage with a dewy glow…exactly what I was hoping for in this product!
The puff applicator is surprisingly great and allows me to apply a thin layer of product and blends with the skin perfectly. If I feel like I need more coverage on certain days, the product layers really well. Overall it’s very simple to use, the application is ultra quick and the finished sheer and dewy look is exactly what I look for in a BB cream product.
#BONUS this BB Cushion comes with a full size refill and additional puff applicator! I purchased the BB Cushion in June and only recently swapped in my refill, so for $49 I’d say this cushion is well worth it’s price 🙂
Throwin’ it back to one of my fave Acacia Swimwear prints ‘Dragon Stripe’. Somehow I managed to forget to post about this one-piece when I first got it, but it’s one of my favourites. I love the back cut-out detail that makes it look like a bikini from the back and the tie details at the sides. Naomi Newirth who designs Acacia Swimwear is a print genius and I can’t get enough of her designs…Can’t you tell?! 😉
The Light the Night Jumpsuit by Billabong is literally my go-to outfit right now. It’s the perfect blend of fashion meets function. You guys know that I love me some 70’s vibes, and this jumpsuit is really tapping into my Farrah Fawcett alter ago 😉
I love that it’s also super comfortable, it’s made out of a cotton and flax blend so it feels really nice on the skin. Throw this bad boy on to go on a date at the drive-in and I promise you’ll feel effortlessly cool.
